THESE EARTHLY DELIGHTS - 2020

In collaboration with Kaida Kobylka, “These Earthly Delights” was made during the Lowlands Project Space in house residency.

INTWINED - 2018

“Intwined” explores my own identity in relation to the world around me by creating imaginary creatures that embody my physical anxieties with a commerce of the curious uncanny and otherness. As these beings cross over into our world of material things, and cultural contexts they are instantly viewed from a perspective of humanness that we cannot escape.

These soft sculptural forms hint at the innocence and controlled by familiar domestication, constantly being challenged by their animalism, sexuality and desire to exist in nature. For these creatures, innocence and brutality of the natural world writhes within the control of domestication and commodification of their once living bodies.

HELMINTHES - 2018

A curious pile of ever growing friendly worms made from faux fur, glass beads, sequins, and fabric scraps.

SAUDADE - 2018

A deep melancholic longing for the absent. The creation of this miniature reef was used to draw attention to ongoing climate change and its devastating effects on one of our world’s most important ecosystems during the Cities and Climate Change Conference.
